MISSION:  The mission of the Insider Risk Management Program Office is to deter, detect, and mitigate insider risk by ensuring the safeguarding of critical and/or classified information from exploitation, compromise or any other unauthorized disclosure while ensuring the protection of Privacy and Civil Liberties for our employees.

VISION: Our vision is safeguarding the critical assets and information of our organization while ensuring common decency and respect for all persons regardless of the situation.

GOAL: Our goal is to provide executive level service for all members of the Department of Commerce and its Bureaus while deterring, detecting, and mitigating insider risk concerns for the purposes of thwarting our adversaries’ threats to the Department, its Bureaus and the Nation.
